Carey Missler

Carey Missler is a professional Cinematographer/Producer/Editor from the Okanagan Valley. In 2007 he had the opportunity to work on “The Union Movie” with friend and producer Adam Scorgie. The Union Movie went on to win various awards including “Best Documentary,” “Best Editing” and several more awards. Carey is a former graduate from Centre for Arts & Technology where he studied film and graduated with a diploma in Digital Film Production. He has since gone onto produce several television and internet commercials, and has formed great partnerships with Digital Film Brands including lowepro.com, manfrotto.ca, shapewlb.com, zacuto.com, varavon.com, pivothead.com and many more. In 2012 Carey produced his first television show “David Lea’s Fight Camp” that started airing on The Fight Network later that year. Since then Carey has produced and edited “The Canadian Surfer Movie” which gained world wide attention in 2014 resulting in two world wide distribution deals for television and internet with Garage Entertainment and X-treme Video.

In 2015 Carey Missler produced, directed and edited The Paddler Movie featuring Stand up paddle boarder Bob Purdy. In Febuary 2015 they were awarded the “2015 Award of Excellence” at the Canada International Film Festival (CIFF).
