Dr. John Wagner received his BA and MA at the University of Victoria, and his PhD at McGill. He has been responsible for brining life to the UBCO’s World Water Day celebrations, and continues to play a significant organizational role. His research spans environmental anthropology, agriculture, conservation, and water governance and rights.

Dr. John Wagner will open the Celebratory Water Ceremony on March 19th, 2015. Additionally, he has performed an organizational role this year, guiding the committee while working to prepare the many events associated with the water celebrations this year.
